Great News!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are having a great Labor Day. Great things are happening at Beech Grove Baptist Church. As most of you know, we have a gospel outreach that we have begun in an attempt to share the gospel with a minimum of 100 people by October 1st and sharing the Gospel should be the top priority of any born-again child of God. We are also preparing to start our Christmas backpack operation, and we are launching beechgrovebruceville. org on October 1st. Along with that launching comes my blog called More Than Just Sunday. Admittedly, I do not know what I am supposed to do with a blog. I was told it was like talking except I would be typing. If that is the case, I hope I do not develop carpal tunnel because if I type as much as I talk I am going to be in trouble.

My blog will not be a political blog, but I will address current events through the lenses of scripture. I will also use my blog to emphasize God’s influence on history, I will address doctrinal truths, and most importantly, I will use this blog to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I cannot wait to get started. As for how often I will publish my blog, I do not know. I will post things regularly or whenever I feel moved to do so. I welcome your feedback which I am guessing you can provide through our website, and I will be glad to attempt any questions you might have if you send them to me.

It is an exciting time to be a Christian. You can feel the pages of history winding to a conclusion, and I am living daily in anticipation of the Rapture.

I guess this is officially my “pre-blog.” I plan on my first blog in More Than Just Sunday being posted on October 1st.
